the ALLSAINTS there was pretty amazing, of course, its in its home place of Spitalfields! The windows and merchandising looked purposely so old and mechanical with old machinery and sewing machines. the outside didn't look too shabby either with the flashing lights!
when I went to London, I stayed at my friends uni halls with her which is in Shoreditch. Just walking around you can see amazing street art which I absolutely love. I think you can really express what you want in a unique way using different methods
One of the things I love about London are the eccentric and edgy designers. One of my favourites is Burberry Prorsum. I just love love their edgy and cool take on classics. Christopher Bailey really knows what hes doing and season after season he creates the new must have items. Last season, the aviator jacket, this season the studded biker. Whats next?!!

LOVE the studded biker jackets! Not the most newest designs in the world, but theres something so cool about those Burberry girls. The attitude, the edgy-ness, the youthful-ness.
As it happends we had to do a consumer profile for Burberry Prorsum at uni in one of our seminars! Heres one that Ive done
Another little thing I've discovered a little while ago whilst browsing though the Burberry Website is the 'Burberry Acoustic' section. The brand is supporting new British music talent which I think is a really fresh approach to reaching not only a wider and diverse audience, but a innovative way to get people involved with the brand as well at promoting it.

(nottingham band :) seen them quite a few times, really good! the use of a saxaphone in their songs is a bit different but really works)
I'm studying at Nottingham Trent Uni doing fashion communication and promotion, and we got an amazing chance to go on a trip to New York to help with our project!! How ecxiting :) BUT Im not going :( I'm going in the summer so kinda can't afford both! Instead, I'm gna have a little wonder around London. I mean it could be just as eciting right? Obviuosly different cultures, but its the New York of Europe! Thousands of tourists go there every year, and with the Olympics coming up in 2012, theres gonna be soo many more new and ecxiting things popping up around London! But what I do love about London (and prefer) to New York, is its street style and eccentricity that the city just has. Ok in Brooklyn you can find the sort of underground scene and Im sure its amazing, but I just love how London has it everywhere, everyone looks so cool and totally unique. I love the different designers from London as well, London Fashion Week is so good and every year more and more new designers are discovered showcasing their collections! Cant wait to live there in the future :)
